Daily Reminders

1. Information We Collect

Quote Mantra does not collect personal identity information. We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address.

To provide notifications, the app may use a unique Device Token (generated by Firebase) to route daily quotes to your device. This token is not linked to your personal identity.

2. Local Data Storage

Your "Favorite" quotes and theme settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not synced to our servers and remains under your control.

3. Permissions Used

The app may request the following permissions to function correctly:

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send you daily motivational reminders.
  • App Widgets: To allow you to place a quote widget on your home screen.
  • Internet Access: To receive push notifications and handle in-app update checks.

4. Internet Usage

The app requires an internet connection for:

  • Receiving "Daily Thoughts" via push notifications.
  • Checking for app updates and processing in-app reviews.
  • Loading dynamic resources if required by external libraries (like Lottie animations).

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted Google services to improve your experience:

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): To deliver notifications.
  • Google Play Services: For secure app updates and rating prompts.

6. Children's Privacy

Quote Mantra is safe for all ages. We do not collect any personal data from children or adults.

7. Data Security

We follow modern Android security practices (targeting API 36) and use code minification (R8) to ensure the app is secure and the code is protected.
